Dell rejects spyware charge
Well this is an interesting case. Dell appear to be bundling the "MyWay search Bar" onto new computers.

CCNA Update
Well the end is near, 1 more week of classes and practice exams before I am able to take the certification exam which I’m nervous about.
I’ll post back on the after the final class.
CCNA exam update
Well I took Voucher Exam C tonight and got 69%. Better then the previous Exams (A and B).
Admittedly I had some help to give me a hand. But I’ll live with that.
On to the Prometric Practice Exams next week.
Zimbabwe TV slams UK poll ‘fraud’
"Zimbabwe state media have criticised the recent election in the United Kingdom, saying it involved fraud." The BBC reports.
What complete and absolute crap. How dare they preach free and fair elections when there government intimidates voters and ban known supporters of there own country’s opposition parties from voting?
They say our use of black ballot boxes is a problem and that we should use translucent ones like they do. Again that’s crap. Since the Zimbabwe government rigs the elections everyway they can and prevents international monitors from entering the county and ensure the results are fair.
How dare they question our transparency when they don’t preach it them selves. We are very transparent.
Also mentioned was “suppression of media freedoms and fraud” How can the media have been suppressed when they were present during the results? Again they can talk since they don’t preach a free and independent media.
The only bit of truth is the issue of postal voting and that’s already be widely commented on and that’s been transparent. Something that Zimbabwe can’t preach to us.

Google Web Accelerator sparks privacy fears
Google has released a Beta of there Web Accelerator yesterday and lucky I did not install this.
This has opened a few security issues with the worst being able to login as another user on websites.
I’d say Google are now embarased at this major hole.

I did my CCNA4 practial this evening and got some of it done (run out of time).
I will be continuing this next week

Hi all,
Sorry for the lack of postings here but i had nothing to post untill tonight.
I took my CISCO Voucher Exam tonight and got 64.8% 
I hope to take another test next week.
Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 RTM
Well i’ve been running Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 RTM for the past 2 days and all in all it’s been great.
I really like the SCW wizard used to disable unused services, and secure other aspects of the server.
NTBackup needs to be tested on a server with an HP StorageWorks Ultrium Tape Drive as that was posing problems on our servers and hope it’s fixed.
Anyone for Windows XP Neutered ??
Windows XP N, what a crap name!
I liked Reduced Media Edition as that says what you will get. Now on earth will Windows XP N make the consumer know what there getting! 
Aparantly this name was thought up by the EU so natraully they think up stupid ideas.
